Keesha Sharp
Tyler Perry's film Why Did I Get Married is also a film that features her. Perry, Janet Jackson and the film indie Frozen Peas are all starring with her. Other film credits for her include The 636 (for which she received the award for Best Actress at the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, as well as American Adobo. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Keesha started her professional career in the stage world after she graduated from Cum Laude Conservatory with the B.F.A. Keesha was part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and was in eight different roles on the theatrical comedy Eat the Runt. Keesha has also performed in Abyssinia and Aida. She has read August Wilson's Come and Gone alongside him. Keesha has also directed several episodes of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?, as well as the short films One Day, Lillian, and Half Off. Keesha is the co-creator Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll and has a variety of different original projects in making. Keesha is currently working on her first full-length record following the success of her previous record "Santa Baby."
