Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. After her kickboxing and boxing lessons, BJJ and wrestling she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was only 18. Ladd continued to build on her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She finished all of her opponents during the opening round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was damaged. Ladd bounced back from defeat through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round with a TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her subsequent fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen took on McGill by wrestling her to the ground and eventually defeated her in the third round by TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at weight catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. The fight was won with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion in a unanimous verdict. Her UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to take the win via TKO in the 2nd round. Her dominance continued and she got a huge win at the end of her fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute and was awarded a prize to commemorate her performance of the night. Her first major fight came when she fought her second opponent in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. Then she bounced back to win Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round at UFC in ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
